G2 and HellRaisers advance to 1

G2 and HellRaisers have successfully reached the 1-1 pool of the New Legends stage, meanwhile BIG and ENCE risk elimination after falling in consecutive fashion.

The opening match of Swiss round two saw German and French sides, BIG and G2, lock horns on Mirage. Fatih "⁠gob b⁠" Dayik and his men kicked off to a stellar CT-side start, as the pistol round plus four were accrued in consecutive fashion. G2 were able to break up the defence's winning streak with two of their own, however, the setback was short-lived, as an economic reset for the aggressors marked further spiraling to a 2-8 deficit. Apparently unfazed by the early fall-throughs, the Frenchmen conceded but a single round in the remainder of the half, softening the blow at a 6-9 deficit.

G2 were able to successfully outlast BIG on Mirage

BIG landed a consecutive pistol round on the offense, this time without an extensive string of rounds to follow. As soon as rifles were seen on the French side, the power dynamic shifted, with G2 consistently shutting down advances from the German-majority offense. This persisted all the way to a round lead at 13-11, whereby the Frenchmen were finally able to assume a round surplus on Mirage. BIG made attempts at a comeback, successfully securing an equaliser of their own, however a financial reset in the final rounds marked their downfall at a 13-16 scoreline.

Over on the main stream the Finns of ENCE battled against HellRaisers on Dust2. The international mix, spearheaded by captain Kirill "⁠ANGE1⁠" Karasiow, achieved success on their T start by securing the pistol. ENCE employed their best efforts in an attempt to catch the offense off-guard, however, they were shocked to find an unrelenting Özgür "⁠woxic⁠" Eker, who had an outstanding performance over the course of the initial half. Dominance persisted on HellRaisers' part, producing an outstanding 13-2 T half.

ENCE were set on bringing the match back into their reach, as the Finns recomposed in the second pistol round, able to make it theirs off the back of a 3k from Aleksi "⁠allu⁠" Jalli. Inspired by their teammate's performance, the squad sprung back into action, steadily amassing rounds as the map elapsed. While ENCE indeed showed a formidable attempt at bringing the map back into their control, the surplus secured in the initial half by HellRaisers proved to be too vast to overcome, as the international mix close out Dust2 with a 16-12 victory.
